Patient Profile:
Ithesh is a 7-year-old boy who has had a hearing problem since a very young age. A recent visit to the doctor revealed that he suffers from bilateral severe to profound hearing loss. Ithesh lives with his parents, sister and grandmother in a small village called Markanja Grama in Mangalore. His father is an agricultural labourer and earns around Rs.10,000 per month while his mother works in a beedi rolling unit and earns around Rs.3,000 per month.
Ithesh has been seeking treatment at the Government Wenlock Hospital, Mangaluru and has been advised to get extra strong hearing aids for both his ears and needs to undergo speech therapy simultaneously. The estimated cost of the treatment is Rs. 80,000 and the family is in no position to manage the expenditure.

As per our background verification, Ithesh and his parents are economically poor, and cannot afford the cost of his treatment. We at Right to Live, are trying to do our bit by raising funds for his treatment.
