Aritra Chowdhury, the 15-year-old son of Mr. Nabendu Choudhury, is a resident of Chanchal block of District Malda in the state of West Bengal. He has been detected in the 3rd stage of a rare type of cancer called "Ewing sarcoma” that usually occurs in bones or in the soft tissue around the bones and he is suffering from lower body paralysis due to this malignant condition.

After a detailed consultation with a specialist at the Tata Medical Center, Kolkata, he has been prescribed chemo-radiotherapy which is an expensive process costing INR. 5,00,000/- and extending through a year before the surgery can be performed.

Aritra comes from a financially disadvantaged family. His parents are currently unemployed and are facing difficulties in gathering the required money for their son’s treatment.

How Right To Live is helping?

Owing to his humble economic background, he needs financial assistance. Given the enormity of the cost associated with cancer treatment and subsequent surgery, considering the lack of resources in hand, Right To Live is helping the family to gather the required fund.

Please remember: 100% of your donation goes to Aritra’s treatment. We don’t use any part of donations for admin expenses since those costs are covered by trustees. The payment is entirely released to hospitals and not placed in patients’ hands.

Right To Live requests your kind cooperation by contributing to this noble cause, which will allow Aritra Choudhury to complete his treatment and lead a healthy life with his loved ones.
